Finished my Lina shirt. Bought a blue bikini bottom for shadowcat. Got Dragoncon plane tickets (completely set for Dragoncon… no going back now!) Got different yellow ribbon for the yellow bits on Urd… turned out I’d gotten craft ribbon the first time 😛
To Do List:
-Make Lina Armour.
-Attach cape to said armour.
-Get three belts for Lina.
-Make jewels and bracelets for Lina.
-Attach fur to Lina gloves.
-Finish the black top and glove tops for Urd.
-Sew on yellow zigzags.
-Make boot cover/fix up boots.
-Repaint Lum horns.
-Make new hair pins for Lulu.
That’s it for me. For Ash… gads, I don’t even know. We’ve got such a list of stuff to do this week…
I keep adding more costumes to my list of what’s going to Otakon with me. ; So far it’s Urd, Lina, Lum (of course), and then Lulu, Misato, Rally Vincent, Jupiter, Utena, She-Ra. Good god, I’d never have time to wear them all! I have to wear Lulu again, with Ash’s Yuna. Same for Misato, to wear with her Ritsuko. I want to wear Rally at a convention, I’m proud of that wig. Jupiter and Utena I’d like to take with me just so I could possibly get my pic taken with some other characters from their respective anime.
Ash and I pre-registered for the Otakon friday costume contest, as I said last time. Don’t know if we got in or not, but if we did we’ll be there in Urd and Skuld. Neither of us care anything about winning something… I know for me, personally, it’s more about being on stage than it is about winning. Ash is just doing it because I’m doing it.
I’m really started to get excited about Otakon, especially after looking at the AX photos on fansview… o_o
